I won’t deny that Marines are awesome; I’ve worked with a handful of them over the years and am always impressed. they also do a helluva lot with a tiny budget and our hand-me-downs.

Too cool. I heard on the radio this morning that some asshat Army brass are grumbling about it, and one guy (maybe a general, if I heard correctly) said “why would have someone who biologically can only do the bare minimum?” I’m sure these women would “bare minimum” his ass right into the ground.

I’m glad. After I got off the boat, I worked in aviation support and a few of my wings were marine helo squadrons. They were a great bunch of guys!
